McDonald's and Burger King are only about 200m away. The rooms were clean and tidy, with housekeeping and fresh towels every day. Breakfast was nice, a typical German breakfast. A nice place to stay in Straubing.

The Roemerhof is my current favorite for business trips in Straubing. I’ve stayed twice, as well as at several other places here. It’s clean, comfortable, and friendly, with several good local restaurants within walking distance. The daily breakfast is generous, and the basement bar and restaurant is handy on days you don’t get out anywhere else. If you’re here as a tourist, you may prefer to spend more for somewhere on City Square.

The prices are very fair, and the hotel isn’t far from the city centre. Our room was very large, with two windows, a double bed, and a small bed. The personnel were very polite, and housekeeping came every day. I totally recommend this hotel.

There’s breakfast at the hotel, and it’s a very nice place. Just be aware that the rooms don’t have kitchens or cooking facilities.
