Even with refurbishment work still going on, I was really pleased by how clean our room was. We also stopped for a beer and a snack at the bar, and the prices were fair. Breakfast was good quality too.
8/10
A clean, pleasant place for a travel stop. The staff were friendly, and although parts of the hotel were being refurbished, we slept well with hardly any noise.
2/10
The renovation work was never mentioned before I booked, and several advertised services were unavailable during my stay. There was no proper bar or suitable breakfast area, even though both were listed as amenities. Construction noise continued, the room was uncomfortable because of heating problems, and the cleanliness fell short of expectations. They also refused to give me an invoice, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This stay was far below what guests should expect. I can't recommend the hotel until the renovation is finished and its transparency and service quality are restored.
10/10
The staff were super nice, and breakfast was good. The room could use more outlets, and it would be nice to have a coffee machine.
6/10
A handy place to stop while driving through Germany, with parking available and really comfortable beds. Breakfast was served late, and by the time we got there the choice was limited. Even the plates had run out, and no one was around to ask for more, so that needs improvement. The TV was only in German, though I guess that's the case everywhere in Germany.
