CLOUD No7 LOFTS

This was my second stay, and I was happy to come back. The beds are really comfortable.

We booked five rooms, and the stay was frustrating. The supposed upgrade was actually smaller and looked out over a parking lot, while our group was split across different floors. Key cards failed every day in every room. One person got locked out on the first night, and with no staff after 6 PM, had to pay for another hotel. There was no housekeeping either. Terrible experience.

We had a very enjoyable stay last weekend. The room was clean, with thoughtful, tasteful design that made it feel cozy and relaxing. We were traveling with a baby and there wasn't a cot, but for just one night that wasn't a major issue. The location worked well for us. The city center was a few bus stops away, and there were restaurants and grocery stores close by. At check-in, the man at reception greeted us with a warm smile and was helpful and positive throughout. We'd recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable, convenient place to stay in Stuttgart.

The location was handy, just a couple of stops from the city center, and our room was fine, if a bit small. The bathroom was especially cramped. If you moved the wrong way in the shower, you'd hit the temperature knob. It's also very hot inside, and fans or something to help with the temperature would be useful. Depending on the room, the window may face the Rewe parking lot, which is often loud. We needed to do laundry, but there's only one washer and dryer for the whole building. You book through an app, and if someone is ahead of you, you may wait hours. The information about laundry access and opening hours was inconsistent, and you need a separate key from reception to get into the laundry room. Reception itself is only staffed at certain times, and those hours didn't match the emailed information packet. I'm torn about the place.
