This is the only hotel in the city where I can get a chance to sleep at 6am.

Friendly, professional staff and a good breakfast. It’s a very good fit if you’re on a budget but still want top-notch service.

I’ve stayed at the Hotel Am Wilhelmsplatz twice, in 2016 and 2017, and I’ve always been able to get the single room I requested. I’ve already booked there again for my 2019 return to Stuttgart. The rooms are basic, which suits me fine, and mine was clean, including the bathroom. Wi-Fi (WLAN) came with the room at no extra cost, the price was right for a basic room, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

I had the worst sleep. The room was cold, and light and noise came through the windows easily. It also smelled of cigarettes, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The receptionist talked too much, and the breakfast was pretty bad.

It’s a good price for a budget traveler, and I still felt safe. The reception was very nice, and the location is close to city attractions. The room was very small, and if you avoid the main road, it’s near strip joints.
