The area around Das Abendrote Haus is lovely and peaceful. There's plenty of space for activities inside, plus two kitchens that are very well equipped.

Everything was clean, and getting in was easy. The place feels cozy despite its simple furnishings, and the setting is both tucked away and close to everything. We'd happily stay again :)

The meals were a real highlight, especially dinner, and the hosts also did a wonderful job accommodating our vegan and vegetarian guests. Breakfast had lots of variety and was very good. We came with a big family group for a birthday, and Abendrote Haus gave us room to celebrate, with plenty of bathrooms and kitchens, a place to sit together, and outdoor space for the children. The house itself is beautiful, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We used both apartments for a family celebration with nearly 30 people, including a garden wedding. There was space outside for the ceremony, a tent, and a bouncy castle, and the gardens were a lovely place to spend time. The rooms are beautifully furnished. The owners were so accommodating and flexible, and really made an effort to make our stay pleasant. It turned into a perfect weekend, and we'd highly recommend the holiday home. Thank you for everything!

Anna-Lina Harms was especially helpful with thoughtful suggestions and flexible answers to the particular needs of our group. Communication was easy both before and during our stay, and her personal effort helped make the family celebration at Abendrot House unforgettable for all of us. We had booked six rooms as a large holiday apartment for a weekend in August last year, with 16 adults, 6 children, and 4 dogs. We relied on the positive reviews and asked the hostess to cater for 22 people, which worked out wonderfully. The cake, dinner, and breakfast buffet were all carefully presented, and both the meat eaters and vegetarians were delighted. The food was prepared with the aim of being 'regional, organic, and fair trade.' The former farmhouse has a palpable history, and the surroundings, terrace, and garden made for a peaceful, relaxing setting away from everyday life. The rooms are simple but tastefully furnished. Many thanks again for such a special family weekend.
