V-Hotel

We picked this hotel for New Years weekend, hoping to get away from fireworks, and stayed in the Little Red Riding Hood treehouse. It was lovely and surprisingly warm thanks to the floor heating. The big window looks out at trees and cars going by, and the rain shower was a good size. There’s a hot water kettle and a stocked mini fridge in the treehouse. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety. The winding stairs are a workout with luggage, so pack light. I wish there’d been more in the loft upstairs. The bean bag was stained, so we didn’t use it. Dogs are allowed in the hotel but the treehouse. There’s a bus stop right outside, and it takes just 20 minutes to get to the city centre. The hotel has its own parking lot with electric charging. Despite hoping to escape fireworks, New Years was loud, with fireworks and church bells. Overall, a nice stay.

We stayed in the Red Riding Hood treehouse for our honeymoon, and it was delightful. The service was very accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. The view was lovely, and the upper floor, reached by a ladder, was a cool feature. I’d highly recommend it to couples after a hotel with a unique vibe. The main hotel’s decor is a fun mix of pop art and fantasy and traditional styles.

The view from bed into the woods was priceless, a perfect way to start the day. It’s a beautiful, quiet place among the trees, with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are small but clean and well designed, with some useful gadgets. Highly recommended!

The bistro is great, with everything cooked fresh, and the beds are comfortable. Staff are very friendly too. The rooms have an unusual layout. It’s set in the middle of the forest and runs on self-generated solar power, with a great atmosphere of pop art culture, art and decor. Make sure you bring your ffp2 masks, as they have to be worn everywhere outside your room.
