The rooms are spotless. The owners are putting in a lot of work to give the place a more distinctive, modern feel, though the building's age means it takes time. From what we saw, Harry and Anna have already made a big difference. Visiting feels like going to see family.

The old 1800s building has so much character, and the little bar in the dining area is a regular evening spot for locals to have a beer and chat. We lucked out finding this place in a small town among Germany’s beautiful hills. Everyone was super friendly, and we’ll definitely return for another night.

The food was fantastic, with plenty to choose from: suckling pig, ribs, sausages, roast pork, chicken drumsticks, and spiral potatoes. We went with friends for a medieval-themed dinner, and the cheerful hosts and lovely atmosphere made it a wonderful evening. We’ll definitely go again. Thanks for such a great night.

We had our company Christmas party here with over 30 people, and some of us stayed the night with our dogs. Breakfast the next morning was great too. The owners are very friendly, and it’s a restaurant with a long tradition, a good drinks selection, and delicious freshly prepared food. We’ll definitely come back.

Anna and Harry made our four-night motorcycle holiday a pleasure, with everything so well organised. We loved the dinners, the tasty beer on tap, and the well-organised breakfasts. Thanks for the lovely evenings. Greetings from Schoorl.
