The food is good and worth what it costs. The room was comfortable, with a spectacularly good bed. The bathroom looked a little dated, but it was very clean and worked fine. The people running the place were lovely. The owner even moved his tractor out of the shed so I could keep my motorbike inside overnight. Riders should know that the road south of the hotel is closed on weekends and holidays, so go via Plettenberg. There are some nice walking trails nearby, too.

I really liked the traditional inn atmosphere. It felt like the kind of German hospitality I picture. The hosts were kind and friendly, everything was spotless and tidy, including the rooms, and the food was good. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. There's Wi-Fi and a TV, and for this quality I thought the price was quite reasonable.

We ate well here, with dinner both tasty and generous, and breakfast offering plenty of good choices. The value for money was good, and the hotel met what we expected. The decor is a little dated, but we knew that when we chose it.

Traveling with a dog, you can find an affordable and straightforward place to stay here. The country hotel itself feels neglected and run-down. Our room was dusty, there was hair in the bathroom, the showerhead was broken, and the shower door wouldn't shut.
