Pension Seerose

For around €70, this was excellent value. The room smelled fresh and was clean, and getting in with the key box was easy. There’s also a stylish, well-equipped shared kitchen, with snacks and drinks available on an honor system.

There’s no staff on site, but the place has everything needed to prepare your own meals. The shared kitchen and dining room are clean and comfortable, and in summer you can barbecue outside and enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s 40 minutes from Husum and 8 minutes from Sankt Peter-Ording. A good, affordable option for a boutique hotel.

I was very disappointed with the room I booked for August 2025. Hair on the bed and in the bathroom made the single room so unclean that I couldn’t stay the night. They promised me a partial refund, but I still hadn’t received it as of September 2025. I tried reaching them several times by email and phone and got no response at all. This kind of unprofessional treatment is completely unacceptable for a place calling itself a “boutique hotel.”

It’s a quiet place with a lovely morning view over the fields, and the guesthouse and grounds were in excellent, clean condition. My room was clean and nicely furnished as well. I stayed one night and contacted the owners by email and WhatsApp because I was arriving very late and leaving very early. There’s no breakfast, unfortunately, so you’ll need to find somewhere else to eat in the morning.
