The location made getting around easy: we could walk to Penny Market and other shops and restaurants, and a short bus ride took us to the S-Bahn for trips into downtown Munich or elsewhere. My family and I spent a week at Landhaus Sixtmuhle and loved it. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, the hotel and rooms were extremely clean, and breakfast was especially delicious. We plan to stay here whenever we return to Munich.

The owner was friendly and pretty much handles everything himself. The room felt cozy, with a clean, modern look. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but the value for money was excellent. We'd happily come back.

Parking was very good, just as I'd expected. The room was spacious, though it didn't feel charming or cozy, and the bathroom was quite small. Breakfast was pretty basic. The cold cuts and cheese were simple, the fruit salad looked canned, and there weren't any scrambled eggs. I can't agree with the very good rating, unfortunately. It's a down-to-earth hotel that's satisfactory to good, but not outstanding.
