Villa Berlin-Seehof

Just the perfect place.

The location was nice, and getting to Berlin by S-Bahn was convenient and worked well. Still, I can't recommend the place. The photos don't all match the actual conditions, and it really only suits up to two adults. The extra beds are flimsy, unstable children's beds, so they're not appropriate for teenagers or adults. For the price, it wasn't worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was great, the beds and rooms were fine, and there was a big dining table with comfortable living room seating. The baby cot and highchair were welcome too. The area was quiet and pleasant, with the S-Bahn station within walking distance. Booking was straightforward, the price fair, and parking was available on site. A few things in the kitchen needed attention: the extractor hood didn't work, one cabinet compartment was crooked, and the back panel was poorly finished. One window also wouldn't close properly. The apartment had only the bare essentials for furnishings, both in the kitchen and elsewhere, which left it feeling sterile and without character. There was no grill on the property, and the promised Netflix access wasn't activated. A few minor repairs could sort these things out, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Edit: The homeowner says the issues have now been resolved and steps are being taken to make sure Netflix access is available. I'm glad the feedback had an effect, and I thank the property manager for responding promptly. I can only rate the situation as it was at the time, so I'm keeping my 4 stars, but I look forward to visiting again.

The house has underfloor heating throughout, with dial thermostats by the doors. The renovation is modern, and it has all the conveniences. The Wi-Fi reaches nearly 100 Mb/s! A car makes getting around easier, though the metro isn't far away.
