We held a company off-site here, and the conference room was spacious, airy, bright, and nicely designed. The hotel, restaurant, and meeting facilities sit in a green, quiet area. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, including an open fire in the restaurant, while my room was cozy and practical. Parking is available, and breakfast was very nice. The staff were professional and helpful. If you want dinner at the restaurant, book ahead, it's popular and the food is really good.

The hotel fell well short of what we expected. Our room was downgraded without anyone telling us, which felt unfair and unacceptable. Checkout was a nightmare, and the receptionist was below par. The restaurant was a much better experience: the staff were very, very nice, the atmosphere and food both had a great flavour and quality at breakfast and dinner. I loved the homemade butter.

The restaurant, bar, and reception had such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We hadn't booked a table on a weekday because we thought it might be quiet, but we were very wrong, this place is immensely popular and reservations are a must. We spent one night in a lovely room with a big balcony, a very nice bed, and a nice bathroom. I'd definitely stay again if we get the chance.

I tried to arrange a two-night booking for 13 couples, 26 people total, with dinner on one of the nights. The people I dealt with while finalizing it showed no understanding of how to arrange dinner for our group. The restaurant would only seat up to 25 together unless we paid 4000 euros for the whole group, which would be 100% more than a normal dinner per person. They also wouldn't split us into two groups. I regret their decision, but was even more surprised and saddened by the unpleasant, arrogant attitude. I hope they treat the guests they do accommodate more nicely.
