Getting around was easy because several bus lines stop right outside, including at night. The U2 station is about a kilometer away, though you get used to taking the buses. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh bread and salmon at the buffet. The room wasn’t crowded, unlike at many hotels, and breakfast ran until 10:30 even on weekdays. Everything was spotlessly clean. Fantastic hotel!

The restaurant was lovely, with a small but tasty menu and very friendly staff. It’s convenient having a bus stop right outside, though the neighborhood around the hotel isn’t great. My room was dated but clean, and unfortunately the shower drain didn’t work.

The balcony was huge, easily big enough for the three of us, and gave us a fantastic view of the magnificent Störtebeker House with its trumpet and glockenspiel. I was especially pleased by that. Our room had everything we needed, including a coffee machine that they brought up as soon as we asked. It was such a lovely stay, and I’d definitely book an apartment there again.
