Room's by Sleephotels

The best thing about this accommodation is the location. It's very close to the metro, and you can walk to the central station. We had a double room with a private bathroom. It was warm, the heating worked properly, and the hot water never stopped. As someone who worked in tourism, hotels, and restaurants for over ten years, I judge the room from a professional perspective as well as a guest's. It isn't equipped for a comfortable stay. The corridor is empty, with no coat closet or shoe cabinet, so there's nowhere to leave your outerwear, bag, or backpack when you come in. There's a shelf in the room for outerwear, but no hangers. The bed had no cover, and the mattress itself had no mattress pad, which didn't feel hygienic. There were no dishes, glasses, cups, or kettle. So if you come back in the evening, you can't make tea or coffee, or even mix a powdered medicine if needed. The carpet was dirty. I could overlook stains, but the carpet itself wasn't clean, and I wanted changeable shoes to avoid walking barefoot. Even cheap disposable slippers weren't provided. The mattress seemed old and wouldn't hold its shape. I sank into a hole in the middle when I lay down. People with back problems should definitely avoid this room. The bathroom wasn't properly equipped either. There's a bathtub instead of a shower cabin, but no curtain, so water gets all over the floor. We had only two towels per person, one large and one small, and nothing for the bathroom floor. The towels weren't old or torn, but they didn't smell fresh, more like something odd. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The room itself turned out to be lovely, spacious, clean, and well equipped, so the stay was comfortable once we finally got there. Getting there was the problem. The reception and hotel are in separate locations, and that detail was buried at the very bottom of the booking confirmation. The automatic message said check-in had to be before 19h00 and warned of a 50€ fee afterward, but didn’t say where reception was. We spent an hour searching for the hotel and had to call several times before anyone answered. The reception staff weren’t especially helpful or friendly. The building’s exterior also looked ugly and dirty, though inside it was nicely maintained. Other reviews describe the same confusion, which made me wonder if it’s intentional. I’d have given the hotel 5/5 if finding it hadn’t been such a hassle.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and the place was clean. You check in at Sleephotels Cosmos first, but after that everything went smoothly. There are plenty of shops nearby, plus a supermarket across the road after a short walk. A stay here is well worth it.

The location is perfect, and the room was fairly clean, though there was some dirt if you looked closely and the toilets could use more cleaning. But noise was the real problem. The reception is somewhere else, and the hotel is in a building with regular residents, so there didn’t seem to be any rules being followed. A group of young people came in at 4:00 in the morning, played loud music, and made so much noise we could hear everything. I was scared and stressed and couldn’t sleep. It really ruined the trip. Maybe it works for some 18-year-olds, but there’s no real quality here. I wouldn’t recommend it, even for one night.
