I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's remote, and they don't seem to care how you get there or be willing to help with anything. I was attending a wedding and asked to borrow an iron for my shirt, but they refused. They charge you 20€/hour if you're late!!!! Crazy.

After we called the landlord to ask about booking, we said we were considering booking through Booking because the price there was much lower than the offer he gave us. The price on Booking shot up right after our conversation, and he wasn't honest about the offer. We couldn't book it anymore. Such a disappointing move.

This time we stayed in the studio instead of the apartment with a separate bedroom, and it was just as enjoyable. It's peaceful and cozy, and an easy trip for us from Berlin. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. We've spent New Year's Eve at Gestüt Lindenhof four times now, usually as two adults with our two small dogs, and we've already booked for New Year's Eve 2026/27.

The breakfast had fresh eggs, homemade jam, cold cuts, and a range of rolls. The farm cat is happy to get petted too 😉☺️. It's a quaint but modern place, very rural and incredibly quiet. We felt right at home.
