Hotel garni Stephans Albergo

The location was ideal, and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. I stayed at the Albergo guesthouse in Tettnang for six weeks and was very satisfied. My room was comfortable and clean, and I could relax there. I can definitely recommend the Albergo guesthouse!

The communal refrigerator and fully automatic coffee machine in the small common room were useful, and I used both. The rooms are a bit dated, with carpet that would have been better replaced by laminate. A small issue was fixed the next day. For the price, don't expect luxury. The street gets a bit noisy if you leave the windows open, and the building itself is quite noisy too. Check-out could be a little later. The restaurant on the ground floor is now closed, and it looks like the whole place may not stay open much longer. Still, the stay was okay and decent value for money.

It was impossible to get a peaceful night's sleep, and for that reason I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel is very noisy: you can hear every conversation, shower, and footstep in the hallway, as well as constant traffic. I was staying at the Albergo for business. My room was clean and comfortable, but the noise was a real problem.

The building noise was annoying, and without a decent night's sleep, a vacation isn't much fun. The room stayed warm all the time, whatever I tried. At night the traffic was so loud and the streetlights so bright that opening the windows for ventilation wasn't really an option. Bring earplugs and an eye mask!
