We spent New Year's Eve 2025 in Treseburg, in holiday apartment Falkenklippe. Like a lot of dog owners, we hoped the small town wouldn't have fireworks, but it did, and our dog was completely panicked. The apartment wasn't as well equipped as others we've stayed in. There were no bowls in the kitchen for making a salad or something, and the cleaning cupboard was completely empty, even though the landlord said supplies were kept there. A couple of extra rolls of toilet paper would've helped too, especially since you can't buy any in Treseburg.

We stayed with our family in three units and were very happy with them. Everything we needed was provided, and dogs are welcome. The rooms have a lovely rustic Harz feel but are also cozy and well designed, with a modern bathroom and a great shower. Everything is furnished with a lot of care. :)

I still remember how lovely the area looked in the snow, a real winter dream. I stayed here many years ago and really enjoyed it. The rooms were lovely, breakfast was fantastic, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. In the evenings, I spent a long time chatting with the landlady, and we had some wonderful conversations.

We spent three days here, and the apartment was spacious, clean, and in a beautiful setting. The landlady was so nice and always happy to chat. Her food recommendation was spot on for us. I'll just say "7.Zwerg." We'll definitely return 👍

The owners were always friendly, and the rooms were small but really cozy. Breakfast was excellent, with warm rolls, boiled eggs, and all sorts of other good things. Their suggestions for things to do were great too, especially the idea of having a cozy dinner at "7th Dwarf." That old saying about arriving as strangers and leaving as friends fits this guesthouse perfectly. We had a wonderful, extended break and are looking forward to coming back.
