Villa Rosenburg

The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and beautiful.

Being able to reach the thermal baths on foot in just a few minutes made a car-free spa day easy, and there were plenty of sights nearby for walks, hikes, or little outings. Villa Rosenburg is peaceful but still central. We stayed four days in the Sleeping Beauty Apartment, which felt like a dream. It was bright, roomy, spotless, and furnished with care. The large bathroom stood out: modern, comfortable, and well kept. The apartment has a cozy feel, with quality furnishings and thoughtful details throughout. We felt at home right away and would happily return. I can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Rosenburg, especially the Sleeping Beauty Apartment.

The breakfast service was a lovely part of our stay, and the Bodetal Thermal Baths and hiking trails are close by, making it easy to plan outings. We had a wonderful time in the Sterntaler holiday apartment at Villa Rosenburg. It was very clean, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The comfortable, welcoming feel was clear as soon as we arrived. We'd gladly come back and recommend the apartment.

That small freezer compartment in the kitchen was a welcome surprise and made meal planning easier. It might be useful to mention it in the apartment description. We also liked having the chance to visit the thermal baths each day, especially as a rainy-day option with the children. The outdoor lighting in the tower apartment's downstairs bedroom worked well for us, since our kids need nightlights anyway, despite a reviewer's complaint about the lack of blackout blinds. We stayed five days over fall break at Villa Rosenburg in the tower apartment with our children, aged 1 and 3. We'd been there as a couple in 2018, staying in Hans im Glück, so we chose the place again for our first trip with both children. We knew it wasn't aimed mainly at young families and that the accommodation wasn't cheap, but we weren't disappointed. The stairs to the tower apartment were easier to manage than expected, even for our new walker. The big bathtub was a hit with the kids and fit all four of us, including people over 2 meters tall. We hardly used the upper area because the spiral staircase felt too risky with little ones, though they really enjoyed the indoor swing up there. We were happy guests at Villa Rosenburg for a second time and plan to spend our next family holiday there too.
