The room itself was good, especially the bathroom, which was very large and clean. Breakfast was okay too, and the woman serving it was nice. The stay was disappointing because we weren't in the lovely Bahnhof. Our guesthouse was on another street, 350 meters away, not 250 meters. There was loud barking as soon as we arrived, and we could hear a dog in our noisy room barking after midnight and before 7:00 in the morning. When we complained, the woman told us about allergy-friendly rooms, though we'd never requested one. The room had wooden flooring with wide gaps between the planks, so dust could get in and it couldn't really be allergy-friendly. The site didn't mention these kinds of rooms. She also seemed to think the barking was okay because the dog was young and needed to learn. We didn't get a good response when we pointed out that the site said pets weren't allowed in the guesthouses. Pets were allowed in the breakfast room too, which is nice for pet lovers. A tip: make it clear on the site that pets are allowed so guests know. Knowing what we know now, we wouldn't have paid this price.

We waited over half an hour for the main course, with the kitchen moving even slower than the already slow service. The staff were friendly and meant well, but things still need some fine tuning. The food was just okay, nothing special. Neither of my daughters liked the fish fingers or chicken nuggets from the children's menu, and honestly, neither did I. That's quite a feat, and not in a good way.

The dinner was the highlight for me. Every course was delicious, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and some unexpected combinations. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I first visited this restaurant several weeks ago. It's in a wonderful spot, and the old train station feel gives the place a stylish, original, welcoming atmosphere. I've added it to my list for special occasions.

The host was very accommodating, and the rooms were great. The restaurant is currently closed because of staffing, though breakfast is still available.
