We stayed here over Easter and were very happy with the room and service. The owners were so kind and humble, and I wish them all the best. I hope the hotel stays fully booked! The owner made sure to bring wheat buns for me after I asked about them on the first day. Breakfast also had warm, freshly baked buns. Some renovation work is going on at the gym, but he still offered me a pair of dumbbells so I could exercise in my room. When I asked for a backpack for our Bastei hike, they took the time to find one and lend it to us. I'm grateful for all their help.

The bus stop is right outside, making it easy to get to Tharandt train station, with good S-Bahn and regional train connections to Dresden. Inside, everything is lovingly decorated and very clean, and the service is friendly. The cozy atmosphere feels like a holiday, far from the daily hustle and bustle.

The hosts are very friendly, and the small hotel is lovely. Rooms are clean and practically furnished. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby, with some worthwhile surprises along the way.

The adjoining restaurant served delicious, generous portions, and breakfast had a wide selection. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the owners were always welcoming and kind. It's a charming, warmly run hotel that we enjoy returning to. We highly recommend it.
