The Cozy Hotel Timmendorfer Strand

The services are excellent, and the place is well worth a visit for what it costs. I was less impressed by dinner at the restaurant: it was better a year ago. These days I wouldn’t recommend it as fine dining, and it feels too expensive for an ordinary dinner.

The friendly staff, atmosphere, and interior design made this a great hotel. I loved it!

The Cozy Hotel was just the peaceful place I needed to recharge. I started unwinding when my taxi pulled up. The outside is well cared for, and the lovely terrace gives a hint of what’s inside. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are decorated with real taste and attention to detail. My room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the bedding felt top quality. It was so quiet at night that, for the first time in ages, I slept with the windows open. The staff were warm and welcoming, attentive without hovering, and made me feel at home. One dinner was a real treat for a foodie like me: cooked perfectly, presented with care, and served generously. Breakfast was even better. It runs until 11:30, which is fabulous if you want to sleep in or exercise and still take your time over all the delicious choices. Everything was very fresh. The breads were a delight, and the cooked dishes, smoked fish, cheese, and cold cuts were mouth-watering. The coffee was fantastic too, with filter coffee or barista-made specialties available on request. If I’m being very picky, a serious sweets lover might want cake at breakfast, and having a coffee maker and shampoo and conditioner in the room would have made a great stay even better. But those little things didn’t matter to me. I’m completely in love with the Cozy Hotel and will only come back to Timmendorfer Strand if I can stay here again. Thanks for such an unforgettable visit. My batteries are fully recharged!

Dogs are welcome, though they can’t come to breakfast. We had a lovely stay, with spacious, well-furnished rooms and a really nice feel throughout the hotel. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast, included in the room price, was delicious, fresh, and healthy, and the coffee was good too. We also enjoyed the gym, which was well equipped for a hotel gym. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
