The room was tiny, and having the shower in the bedroom felt a bit odd. I also found the mattress too soft. If you want to sleep after breakfast begins, bring earplugs. Otherwise, no complaints: self check-in was easy, the staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and the location was great. Very affordable, too.

We really appreciated the little extra of having the dining room open for guests, with soft drinks, coffee, tea, and snacks available at no added cost. That hardly seems common in hotels these days. The hosts were warm and helpful, and the spacious rooms made it easy to feel at home. Breakfast had plenty of choices for different tastes. We visited in December, and the Ravennaschlucht Christmas market is a must. We’d happily recommend this pension and come back.

The lake is only about a three-minute walk away, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. The place itself is a nice little establishment, with a clean, fresh room and bedding. The bed was the downside: two well-used twin mattresses pushed together left a hump in the middle. Breakfast smelled amazing, but I got up too late to try it.

I’ve stayed here twice while on motorbike trips. It’s quiet, the owner is friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good. The rooms are simple and a little dated, but they’re well maintained and the beds are fine. Very good value for the price.
