The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were really nice and helpful. They had no problem speaking English with someone who doesn’t speak German. When we arrived at 8pm, nobody was at reception, but after we called, someone came. The room was a bit kitsch, though the bed was nice, even with two single beds pushed together.

The rooms are big enough and the place is nice and comfortable, though a little remote depending on what you’re after. Mobile coverage is horrible, but there’s free wifi for guests. It’s near Titisee lake and Badesparadies pools. I’d recommend having a car, otherwise it’s a few minutes’ walk to the bus stop.

The room I had was clean, and the staff were nice. The woman at reception spoke good English, but getting checked in could be difficult if you don’t speak German: reception may be empty when you arrive, and the person you reach by phone only speaks German. The wifi in my room was very weak. The place isn’t modern, and breakfast doesn’t start until 8h, which is very late.

A lovely getaway tucked into the Black Forest near Titisee, away from the lakefront’s more touristy area. The hotel was very clean with wonderful decor, and breakfast was excellent, with a range of local breads and cheese.
