I liked it, and for a one-night stop while cycling a long way north, it suited me perfectly. There’s secure bike storage, and when I asked, they kindly arranged to wash my clothes since most of my floor was filthy. The rooms were spotless, breakfast was fine, and despite being above a casino slot machine business and beside a Burger King, it was very quiet. It’s handy for people passing through. There are fast-food places nearby, plus a really nice restaurant about a 10-minute walk away. Ask the guys for directions, it’s near McDonald’s and the cinema.

The breakfast buffet was a lovely start to the day, especially after a tiring journey. I’m grateful for the warm, friendly service. The staff were patient and professional, and even helped me understand the area by carefully translating my poor German. I hadn’t travelled in a long time, and this hotel felt like a welcome oasis in the heat. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It didn’t have air conditioning, but none was needed. The curtains kept the room feeling modest, and the bathroom was beautifully arranged. There were outlets ready for a hairdryer or toothbrush.

Nice staff and rooms, and the location is good. The price was good too, though there’s no air conditioning and it can be a bit noisy.

The colleague who greeted us was very helpful. She found us another room after the toilet leaked in the first one, apologized a lot, and refunded our breakfast because of the problems in the replacement room. The second colleague was nice too, though she didn’t seem especially hardworking. We wouldn’t stay here again. The new room was much bigger, but cleanliness was poor. The table was sticky, the paper shade on the corner lamp was badly torn, and there was still blood in the freezer compartment, apparently from meat someone had kept there. In the bathroom, the shower head sprayed water everywhere, and the mirror had neither a bulb nor a cover, leaving the wires exposed. Breakfast was frustrating as well. We had to keep asking for more, and portions seemed rationed. We got exactly two rolls each, often when none were left, then had to wait for another batch. During the full two hours we were there, no tables were cleared. The colleague was always gone.
