The front desk guy was lovely and easy to talk to, and gave us good information. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the old town and has its own private parking.

A delightful continental breakfast in the morning, simple rooms, and a wonderful spot near the city wall. There’s free parking and an elevator too, making it a great place to stay.

For the average price of 80 euro in this town, this is good value. The free breakfast and free parking were nice extras. Service was good, and the couple, I suppose, were professional and willing to help. We had a pleasant stay overall.

The location is excellent, just outside the city gate and close to restaurants. The price-quality ratio is okay given the low price, and it’s a good hotel for an overnight stop when travelling through. The standard room was clean, with neat bed linen and towels, plus small soaps and shampoo bottles. But the hotel felt cluttered, and the room looked dated and worn. The carpet was worn too. The shower still uses traditional hot and cold taps instead of a thermostatic one, and the hot water took a very long time to arrive. The receptionist was very friendly and chatty, with some rather unusual stories. The Corona rules felt overly strict. Walking routes through the hotel changed between morning and evening. Breakfast had to be scheduled in one of three groups, with only 15 minutes allowed per group. You could hardly take anything from the buffet yourself; an older lady prepared or served it, and seemed quite stressed by the guests waiting in front of her. Still, the buffet was good and had a wide selection. A major drawback is that check-in is only possible until 19:00. If you’re passing through, it can be difficult to get to the hotel before then.
