Hotel Eisenhut

The rooms were outstanding, both huge and facing the magnificent Tauber Valley, with beautiful amenities. My daughter and I felt like special guests from the moment we walked in. The person checking us in was friendly and very efficient, and answered all our many questions promptly and courteously. The breakfast buffet the next morning was just as impressive, with an excellent selection and more than enough food. The wait staff were kind, courteous, and attentive to my limited mobility. We travel a lot, but neither of us can remember a nicer hotel experience. The place and the people were simply FANTASTIC!! Danke, Merci, Gracias, Thanks!

The central location is hard to beat, and the rooms had plenty of space for our luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is hotel parking, but spaces are limited and need to be reserved in advance. We weren’t told, so we had to pay to park in a public lot about a 10-15 minute walk away. It wasn’t too expensive. The bathroom was the weak point. There was no counter space by the sink for makeup or toiletries, and the shower was a bathtub with a shower handle. A foldable wall was meant to keep water in, but it didn’t work well. We flooded the whole bathroom floor and had to ask at the front desk for extra towels to clean it up. The water pressure was great, though. I’d still recommend the hotel because of its location.

The restaurant food was amazing, and the views and different lounge areas were really nice. The hotel is right in the centre, just a few steps from where the walking tours start. It’s a dream to stay in this historic building. So much has been preserved, with modern touches where they matter, and the staff were great. They’re dog friendly too. My guy got first-class treatment, with dog bowls, treats, and a blanket, and it was lovely chatting with other guests who had dogs. If you’re visiting this town, stay here!

The rooms were clean and modern, while the lobby and hallways had a medieval feel. The staff were wonderful and surprised me with a birthday cake on my birthday. It’s a great hotel in the city centre, and I’d stay again!
