The kitchen was a bright spot: spacious, well equipped, and fitted with a modern stove. The parking area, on the other hand, was a disaster, so narrow it was barely big enough for a motorcycle. There’s a lot that needs renovating inside too: a moldy shower, squeaky doors and floors, dusty rooms with poor insulation, and uncomfortable beds. This place is really only for people desperate to get away from the big city who aren’t fussy about beds or bathrooms and don’t have dust allergies.

The village is pretty, and there’s a bakery, butcher, and good restaurants nearby. It’s also a good base for cycling and hiking. The place has a charming, old fashioned feel, with lots of wood and squeaky floorboards, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Just be aware that it’s not suitable for anyone with a dust allergy. The beds are very narrow and some are quite worn, and there’s a lot of mold in the shower.

A lovely little apartment in a peaceful spot, with a beautiful park nearby.

For a self-catering place, everything was fine.
