Ferienwohnung Tintemann

The rooms were already pleasantly warm when we arrived, and it was easy to settle in and feel at home. The apartment is lovely, spotless, well kept, and furnished with care. Many thanks to the Tintemann family for the warm welcome.

We arrived to a little fruit platter, treats, and a lovely drink in the fridge. The homemade peach jam is especially worth trying. Thank you, Tintemann family, for such a warm welcome and for being so friendly. The apartment is comfortable and very well maintained. It has a spacious bedroom, a storage room, a bathroom with both a shower and bathtub, a well-equipped kitchen, a large living room, and a hallway. Outside, the furnished terrace has an awning and looks toward the Moselle mountains. There's a lockable place to store bicycles, too. It's a peaceful spot in a green setting near the Moselle, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay.

The apartment worked out better than I expected given my severe disability, rated at 100% with markers B+G, and my initial worries about finding accessible accommodation. With a few adjustments, it was quite disability-friendly. For people watching their budget, it can be a real alternative to accessible hotel rooms, and a chance to get out of the daily routine. Many severely disabled people know that laws aren't always followed, even by the government, and rights often take a long fight or lawsuits to obtain. My girlfriend and I had a short but unforgettable few days on the Moselle. The quiet setting suited us, and I appreciated being free from rules like fixed breakfast times or dress expectations. Shops for everyday needs are close by, and there's plenty of information about local activities without anyone pushing it on you. The apartment had everything we needed. If anything did come up, I'm sure the Tintemann family would handle it quickly. There are always people who can find something to complain about if they look hard enough ;-D. The Tintemann family made a big part of our stay, too. They were friendly and helpful, and we had some great conversations. My companion wasn't the only reason we had such a good time, and we both give them five stars, with an extra bonus for the conversation ;-) We'd gladly return if circumstances, including health, allow.
