We only ate at the restaurant and didn't try room service. The menu was large and had plenty of choices, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The food was amazing, the waiters were friendly, and the service was great. The location is beautiful, with a great view.

The restaurant was just average. My steak was overcooked, and the Apfel Strudel was basically a piece of cake. It could be better.

The staff were the best part of our stay. There was a problem with our booking, and they sorted it out graciously. Everyone was kind and attentive throughout. We also had a lovely view of the river and the town on the other side. The hotel is in a great spot, with free parking nearby and a wonderful breakfast. We loved Traben-Trarbach, too, and I highly recommend the hotel.

We could take a boat trip right in front of the hotel, and it's in the town center near the viewpoints. The terrace by the edge of the Mosel River has a splendid view. Good value for money, too. It's a motorbike-friendly place: the owner let us put our bike in his garage at the back and parked his own car in front of it.

The food was okay, but the service from the owner was nonexistent. The waitress left without announcing the final call. No one offered the dog a bowl of water, even though the owner's dog was running around freely. It's cash only, and there's no notice that cards aren't accepted.
