The staff made this stay especially memorable. The receptionist was humble and truly focused on helping us, pointing out nearby sights and places, including the Christmas market. On checkout morning I was sick, and they kindly let my husband bring breakfast to our room. They also gave us more time so I could rest after taking my medicine. The hotel has two separate buildings, and reaching some rooms means tackling a few stairs. Our room was cozy, with lighting we could make bright while unpacking or keep soft with the desk lamp for a calmer feel. It's right in the center, with nearby buildings visible from the window and a glimpse of Europe from decades ago. Coming here felt like returning to a quiet village after the rush of life in a capital. Check-in before 8 PM somehow added to that feeling of arriving home early and slowing down. Simple, warm, and full of heart.

The owner was very kind and went out of his way to help us. At check-in, the map with handwritten recommendations was especially useful. The hotel is well located, with plenty of free parking nearby, and everything in Traben-Trarbach is walkable. Our bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the nights were quiet and peaceful with the windows open. The breakfast buffet was better than at most places we've stayed. Great amenities, and we'd recommend it and hope to return.

Our cycling company Velocipede arranged the booking. When we rode up, the owner came straight out and helped me remove my bicycle helmet, then took us to the automated bicycle garage to store our rental bikes. Inside, he quickly explained the hotel details in flawless English, and we were in our ultra-modern room within minutes. The hotel has been recognized for excellence in sustainability, which was good to know. It's perfectly placed near restaurants and wine tasting, but off the main drag, so nights are quiet. Everything was sparkling clean, breakfast was excellent, and it was one of our best stays in Germany. Thank you guys!

Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices, and the hotel was spotless everywhere. The owners and staff were warm, quick, and happy to help, with thoughtful little touches throughout. It’s also well placed for walking to lots of restaurants and around the lovely town. As we travel through Europe, this has been our favorite hotel so far.
