We've stayed here several times and can't imagine choosing anywhere else. The village is picture perfect, the setting is gorgeous, and the views over the vineyards are breathtaking. I love sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine. The host adds thoughtful touches, and the accommodations are immaculate and well appointed. Already counting the days until we can return to our favorite spot!

Reil makes a lovely base for exploring on foot or by bike. It's a small, idyllic village on the Moselle, with lots of wineries, a few restaurants, and the occasional wine tavern. There's not much beyond that, though: no supermarket or bakery.

The Dauns family gave us a wonderful day out, and we were thrilled with the covered wagon ride and wine tasting. The views of the Moselle Valley from all those vantage points were magnificent, and we wouldn't have reached many of them otherwise. The wine tastings and information about viticulture made it a truly outstanding, well-organized event. Many thanks to the Dauns family!

Emil Dauns is a winemaker through and through, and he's made the covered wagon tour incredibly beautiful. The location is great, the ride was great, and the wines are unmatched in taste. You can tell this business is still run with real heart and soul.
