The team is fairly new, but everyone was friendly and helpful. Sometimes things are a bit rough around the edges, which adds to the charm, and the owner is clearly passionate about her work. The food was good, and the location is great. The rooms aren't new, but they're tastefully furnished, with some new pieces, and everything was definitely very clean. The price for what you get is excellent. I'll definitely stay again.

The waitress was very friendly, but the owner was unfriendly and got even grumpier when I said it seemed odd that a hotel in the middle of a tourist region wouldn't take cards. The food was good, though portions were rather small. The lack of card payment ruined the experience, and there wasn't an ATM in the village. As hikers, we had to walk to the next village because we were €12 short in cash. This isn't for 21st-century guests. I won't return and can't recommend the restaurant.

I booked bed and breakfast, and the breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious. Room 11 isn't new, but it was clean. The beds, pillows, blankets, and towels were good and very clean, and finally, a hotel hairdryer that works for long hair! The owner only took over in May 2021 and is also an interior designer, so I imagine she'll update things. Thanks very much, and best of luck.

The owner cooks for the guests, and both the food and the prices were good. We stayed in a simple room that was very clean, in this charming little wine hotel in the lovely Moselle wine region. Burg itself is a quiet village right by the river, well placed for vineyard walks or a visit to the beautiful Christmas market in the Traben-Trarbach wine cellars.
