We really liked this family hotel. The restaurant is good, and the cosy terrace outside has lovely views and is a nice place to sit with your dog. Service was excellent, and the rooms were very comfortable.

We stopped for lunch during our river tour from Bernkastle Keus, with only 35 minutes to spare. I let the waiter know, and our drinks and food arrived right away. The meals were delicious, and the service was wonderfully accommodating!!!

The location is brilliant. Booking, the room, reception staff, breakfast and dinner all get a 5 from me. It’s listed as a 3-star hotel, but I think it deserves 5 stars. If you go to Traben-Trabach, don’t pass it by.

There are lots of meal options nearby, and it’s a lovely area for walking, with an amazing view. Just be aware that the big stone buildings get very hot in summer!
