Sonnenhof Holiday Apartment 4

We stayed in Apartment No. 6 and would come back. It was a lovely, well-equipped place and even wheelchair accessible, with an idyllic view from the terrace. One small drawback: the beds dip a little, and the gap between them makes it hard to cuddle.

The terrace gave us a lovely view of the Moselle, and we got two sunny weeks to enjoy it. Apartment number 4 was nicely furnished and the setting was very quiet. The bakery and butcher were only a five-minute walk away. The landlords were friendly and helpful whenever needed, while giving us our space.

We stayed in the large apartment with two bedrooms, and it had the basics covered, including towels, bed linens, a well-equipped kitchen, and reliable Wi-Fi. There are pleasant places to sit outside, plus a garden and barbecue. The owners were friendly and helpful, and it felt like good value. The Moselle view is fantastic, with vineyards around the peaceful setting. Shops, a bakery, and a butcher are walkable, and families have plenty nearby to do, from playgrounds and hikes to wine tastings, city tours, boat trips, and a climbing park. There’s also an electric car charging station. A great place for a family break.

We had a lovely time in the village and would happily return. It felt quaint and magical, and the people were so welcoming. Our dog came with us when we rented apartment 6 over Pentecost. The flat was clean and tidy, a good size, and had a great Moselle view. The bathroom had a barrier-free shower. In the kitchen there was a toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator, but no oven, which was fine for us. Towels and bed linens were supplied, along with a broom and vacuum cleaner. We had several places to sit in the small courtyard outside the front door, as well as a lawn and barbecue grill. There were garbage cans for disposal, and the apartment had its own parking space. The landlord was friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. We paid in cash on arrival. The village bakery and butcher had great products.
