We had an authentic evening, with a relaxed chat about winemaking and every question answered. Afterwards, we saw the old cellar and the machinery. The tasting included ten wines from the winery, even though only eight had been advertised, plus a generous cheese platter. The winemaker's piano playing and singing were very professional and just right for the evening. His absolute favorite song was "Ja Schatz!" (Yes, darling!). Many thanks, and best wishes to Kinheim. Highly recommended.

We spent a weekend of three days here and felt right at home. The Henn-Schwaab family answered all our wine questions and shared plenty more information. It's a lovely little winery with a genuinely warm welcome. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was plentiful and varied, with something for everyone.

The owner took us and the other guests to the Erdener Treppchen viewpoint, an almost insider spot. We had drinks there, and the view was fantastic. Back at the place, the owner and his wife were very friendly, answered every question, and gave us as much of their time as they could. The rooms are clean, and the small one with a terrace is especially nice. We're already planning another vacation here.

The owner was in a bad mood and even rude, though maybe the toothache had something to do with it. Such a shame, because the place felt cozy, the room was clean, and breakfast was excellent.
