We usually don't write reviews, but Petra and Michael had to say something about this place. We came away wanting to recommend it wholeheartedly. We hadn't visited the Baltic Sea for ages and had never been to Usedom, so we're very glad our trip brought us to Trassenheide. The town is peaceful and lovely, and we'll definitely return. We're already envious of everyone coming after us. The apartment feels carefully put together, with lovely furnishings that show real heart and taste. The beds were wonderful, and despite the nearby road, it was completely quiet inside. Mirco and Kerstin were exceptionally kind and helpful. It felt like genuine hospitality, and you can tell this rental means a lot to them. A thoughtful blue folder had restaurant suggestions, outing ideas, and useful local information. The property is spacious, fenced, and has room for children, as well as a barbecue and a large fire pit for evenings. From there, it's a 20-minute walk through the pine forest to the sea. After the trees, seeing the Baltic Sea right ahead was just what a stressed-out person needs. Everything we needed was nearby. We especially liked the bakery inside the Danish Netto supermarket, with wonderful cakes and friendly service.

We spent two weeks in the holiday apartment in summer 2024 and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The welcome was friendly, the bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were nicely furnished. The covered terrace was lovely, too. A really comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Getting away for only a few nights with three kids and three big dogs was hard to arrange, since most places require a longer stay. Here, we were warmly welcomed, and they even held the apartment for us briefly while we planned the long drive. It was clean, comfortable, and inviting, and the dog beach is only a short walk away. I had a severe allergic reaction overnight and needed to go to the emergency room the next morning. Mrs. Renken quickly checked in and then drove me there, staying with me as well. I don't take that kind of care for granted. The Renken family really looks after their guests. We felt welcome without judgment, even when the kids got a bit noisy. It's a wonderful place, and we'd love to return. Many thanks for those lovely days from Doreen, Dominik, Frieda, Emmi, Annabelle, and our furry friends. 🏖️🌼🔆
