Hotel Schloßblick Trebsen

After a ten-hour drive from Poland, my husband and I stopped for dinner, hungry and thirsty. We were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, and the food and beer were delicious. Claudia deserves a special mention for her patient, helpful service. She took her time with us and made us feel at ease even though we don’t speak German. Good customer service like that feels rare these days, and I hope the establishment appreciates her as much as we did.

We’ve stayed here twice, and the staff are a big reason I’d recommend it. They’re welcoming, polite, friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant serves excellent food with good service.

The chef’s food was a real highlight. Every dish was delicious and carefully prepared, and he even came to ask whether we’d enjoyed the meal. My family and I spent a couple of days here, and the kind, friendly staff made us feel welcome. The clean rooms had lovely wooden details that gave them a warm, homely feel. I’d happily return.

Our two young kids loved the place, and my wife enjoyed the view. There were kids’ hours, too. We mentioned in passing at the front desk that we were celebrating our son’s birthday, then came back from sightseeing the next day to find two birthday gifts waiting in our room. The rooms were spacious, the service was excellent, and the view and amenities were great. It’s one of the best five-star hotels I’ve stayed in. We hope to return soon.
