Hakan’s Moselblick Pizza und Kebap was so good that we went back the very next night. My cousin Egon brought us for dinner on our first evening in Germany, visiting from the US, and the owners were friendly. The place was clean and beautifully decorated too. We struggled with the menu, but the staff were so helpful, patient, and kind, and pointed us toward delicious meals. We can’t wait to return on our next trip to Germany!

The fries were nice, but the rest of the food was disappointing. There was so much sauce that I couldn't see the plate, and everything, fries included, was soaked. The salami pizza was no better: far too much cheese, and it was layered over the salami. The meal wasn’t great, especially for the price. We also asked for drinks to take away, but were given two glasses at the table instead. When we explained that wasn't what we ordered, the waitress looked angry and told us to get it ourselves. In response to the comment: we ordered in German. Are you suggesting people don't need to speak German when they live in Germany? That's a disgrace. Learn German if you live here, there are courses for that. And a tip, if you don't understand something, just ask what the person means.

If you're traveling along the Mosel and want a warm lunch, this is a great place to stop. I recommend the #6 doner plate if Turkish German cuisine is new to you.

A friendly place with fresh, very good food and lots of dishes to pick from. A nice option when you're after something besides schnitzel :-)
