Emile gave us a lovely welcome and saw us through checkout. We arrived at 11, before the 3pm check-in, and left our bags. He gave us a city map and pointed out where to go. Trier Sud station is only a 12-minute walk away. Our room on floor 511 was spacious and very clean, with a bath and shower gel provided. There was a kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, and a bottle of water. Reception staff were happy to bring me a jug of milk for my tea. The bed was very comfortable. There were nice seating areas in the lobby for having a drink, and breakfast was great, with everything you could need.

The double rooms have two single beds, which is why I'd take off a star. Otherwise, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the clerks are professional, friendly, and helpful. It's in a great location.

The Assistant Manager, Emil, looked after us and offered two Sunday morning breakfasts at the hotel because there had been a miscommunication about our room. I was here for a simple one-night stay in Trier, and the location was perfect for walking into the town center. The facilities were clean, the rooms well kept, and the service was amazing. It didn't disappoint.

The cordial staff are what make this Best Western stand out for me. They switch easily between German and English, and the rooms are clean. The hotel has several ways to spend the evening on site, lovely pictures of Trier throughout, and a pretty good fitness center. Parking is easy, and breakfast has great options. They also have good deals for groups. I've stayed at many Best Western hotels, and I particularly like this one. Hope you enjoy your stay at the Best Western hotel in Trier.

Our car door was badly scratched leaving the underground garage. It's extremely narrow, and the thin protective strips the hotel installed didn't prevent damage. We had an SUV, and I wouldn't recommend taking one down there. The hotel took no responsibility, and no one had told us there was outdoor parking as an option. The check-in staff were unpleasant and laughed about what happened. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
