Montana Hotel Köln-Bonn Airport

The price was amazing for what we got, and the location and atmosphere were charming, just right for our stay in cologne. My only issue was that there weren’t separate beds. That seems common in German hotels, though. I’d stay here again.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly, and the location was great, with convenient underground parking. The bathroom was the one drawback. Getting in and out of the shower was difficult, and I feel for anyone a few kilos heavier than me. I’d stay again if the bathroom were better.

Jenz at the front desk made my one-night stay easy. He checked me in, connected my phone to the Wi-Fi, printed my Ryanair boarding pass, and booked a taxi for a 3:30 a.m. airport pickup. He also pointed out places to explore. The hotel sits in what felt like a village area, with a brewery down the street and a cinema around the corner. My second-floor room near the elevator was lovely and unusually quiet, with everything I needed, a good bed, and a complimentary bottle of mineral water. I left before breakfast, but music in the lobby made waiting for the taxi pleasant. The lobby has a cute hipster look and a bar. I really enjoyed the stay, and the price was such good value.

Right in the city center, this is a clean, nice hotel and a good option if you’re spending a couple of days in Troisdorf.
