A really special hotel, run very well, with a beautiful restaurant. Its broccoli soup is the best I've ever tasted.

I had a comfortable bed, a very clean room, and fast wifi during my one-night stay in October 2022. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant served good food at a good price. I paid €5 for the self-service breakfast and had no issues with that either. I'd recommend it to other travellers.

This hotel was pretty average. There was hardly any bedding and no pillows, and there was mould in the shower. The shower temperature swung from perfect to boiling, then freezing, then boiling again before going back to perfect. One of our rooms wasn't ready when we arrived at 330, and the rooms were very hot, maybe in the high 20s or even low 30s. The shower base wasn't sealed properly, so after showering the bathroom had a layer of water.

We dropped in for dinner yesterday, and the service was excellent. Since my friend and I were the only guests, it was all pretty quick. The portions were enormous for the price, and both the schnitzel and Käsespätzle were outstanding. The chairs were comfortable too, the kind that make you want to stay for hours. I'd highly recommend it if you like traditional German food, and we'll be back on Saturdays for the all-you-can-eat schnitzel day. The one possible complaint is that the espresso was a little watery, but otherwise everything was excellent.
