Ferienhäuser Wede

We stayed in the Wede family’s large holiday home with four bedrooms and were delighted with it. It was spotless, very well equipped, and had everything we needed. There’s also a nice spot in the garden to sit and have a barbecue. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We sincerely thank him and look forward to staying with the Wede family again next year. We highly recommend him.

The bed linen was badly stained and yellowed, almost as if it had been soaked in urine, and the pillows were lumpy. There was mold in the bathrooms, with thick layers of dust in the bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. The Wi-Fi kept dropping out, and the TV signal disappeared after a couple of minutes. We also found unwrapped tablets on the floor from previous guests, a serious concern when guests bring dogs and small children. Before we even arrived, communication was very unfriendly. The €140 final cleaning fee and €70 electricity charge for three nights with dogs felt extortionate. This was our first and last stay. Absolutely not recommended.

We found a place at the Wede family’s holiday apartment at the last minute, and the price was perfectly reasonable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and the location was fantastic. We had our dog and baby with us, and it was ideal for both: our dog was warmly welcomed and could enjoy the terrace and garden, and even sniffed a friendly neighbor’s dog next door. The apartment was roomy and cozy, with everything needed for a relaxing breakfast, a good sleep, and some downtime. The beach was just a 15-minute walk through the woods. Thanks for a wonderful week. We’d love to come back.

There’s a terrace with a decent patch of lawn and parking just outside. Inside, the kitchen is small but well equipped, and both bedrooms have double beds that don’t squeak 😅, plus large wardrobes. The living room has a sofa and TV. A lovely, clean bungalow for four, at a great price and in a great location. We’d definitely stay again.
