Pommern Mühle

Our pharmacy always has a friendly, professional working relationship with the specialist staff at Pommernmühle. It’s clear that the residents come first and receive good care. They also value the pharmacy as a place to turn with specialist questions, which we particularly appreciate.

The spa is on the small side, but bright and clean, with an inviting pool that gets plenty of sun. I also had a lovely, fragrant massage in the little beauty studio. We stayed in a two-room apartment with a kitchenette, so making breakfast ourselves would have been easy. The food is mostly traditional German cooking. It may feel a bit samey to some, with schnitzel, steak, pork knuckle, herring, salmon and pike-perch, but the portions are generous, the prices affordable, and it was all delicious. The place itself is small, warm and cozy, tucked into the woods behind the Uecker dike. I usually prefer Usedom, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. We booked after meeting Ms. Braun at the Green Week trade fair, where I took up the introductory offer. The rooster didn’t wake us, maybe it was too cold for him. Saunas aren’t really our thing, so I can’t say anything about those. We’re planning to celebrate our class reunion soon in the charming mill tavern and use the bowling lanes. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and lots of love to the whole mill team.

The Pomernmühle is still being run as a hotel, even though it’s now a retirement and nursing home. Please change this right away!

So friendly and polite, and especially reassuring given the current hygiene situation. Definitely recommend it!
