Biohof-Rechenmacher

We always have a lovely time at Rechenmacherhof. The team is fantastic and patiently explains all kinds of things about farming. The apartments are furnished with care, and the mountain views are wonderful.

The house is beautiful, fully equipped, and has a view of the Alps. The service is good too, to put it mildly. Small children are their parents' responsibility, as the owner doesn't provide entertainment for them. Getting around is the main drawback: public transport is about an hour and a half away on foot. I'd recommend having a car, or being fit enough to ride a bike, which you can rent on-site. It's a beautiful place with good service, but without your own transport, you're a long way from civilization.

The children had a fantastic time, and the breathtaking view made the holiday even better. The whole stay felt wonderful, with such a lovely family atmosphere. We parents came home feeling refreshed too 🥰 We’ll definitely come back.

Happy kids mean happy parents, and ours had plenty to do: feeding the animals, pony rides, pedal vehicles, and a fantastic play barn. The excitement around the farm when a calf had just been born was contagious. Our apartment was modern with lovely little touches, even a child-sized sink. We also enjoyed the campfire, the thoughtfully packed breakfast baskets, and the farm evening with dumplings. And that view is seriously addictive. We had such a good time. Highly recommend it, and many thanks to Familie Gretschmann!
