The food was fantastic, really tasty, and served nicely. It’s German-style cooking, with generous portions. The service was great too, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Martin was so welcoming and kind. He helped us feel comfortable, took time to explain the dishes, and even let us taste a few wines before we bought any. When I said I liked rostis, he added one to our order for free. The Parma salad had wonderful flavor, with fresh basil, mozzarella, and thinly sliced ham. The lake fish were tender and delicious, and Martin let us enjoy wine while we waited for our takeaway. Great experience, definitely recommend.

What a fun surprise: there was a theater event in the building next to the hotel during my stay, and it was amazing. Ask the staff whether anything is happening. The location is really cool. The rooms were nice, everyone was very friendly, and the food was amazing. Breakfast was good too, though I could've used a little more choice, but that's a small complaint. I was extremely pleased with Sternen Hotel.

We'd already had dinner, so we only managed to have the Angus burger as dessert, which was a shame. It was smoky, juicy, and one of the most satisfying burgers I've ever had. I could've ordered a lot more. I highly recommend this resto!

The food was exceptional, and the local beer went well with it. The building used to be a monastery and has been turned into a fantastic guesthouse. A beautiful place to stay, with lovely German hospitality.
