The room upgrade Antje suggested turned out to be a great choice. I'd booked online and only then noticed the original room was small and in a separate building. The view was wonderful, and Antje was incredibly welcoming. Staying in this old castle hotel in the German countryside was a lovely experience. I'd recommend it to friends traveling to Bavaria, Germany.

The owners are so kind, and the homemade marmalade and vegan spreads at breakfast were fabulous. What a charming little castle with a magical feel to it. I'd happily recommend staying a few nights and exploring the area.

The rooms exceeded what I expected for the price, and it felt like great value given the wow factor. With the castle looking out over a river valley, staying here feels special. A special mention, too, for the lovely woman at reception.
