We got sick before our trip, but even a week ahead we couldn’t reach anyone by phone or email to start a cancellation. They said nothing had ever come through. We could provide written confirmation of the illness, but they still wouldn’t offer any compromise. There were no alternative dates, and they wouldn’t let us pay just part of the total either. Instead, they threatened police action if we didn’t pay the full amount on time. It’s a shame there was no way to find a compromise in this day and age.
