Breakfast being included helped us get ready for the drive back, and the whole stay was a great experience. I’ve never seen a village with four or five hotels built around a three-floor disco before. It’s a clever setup: room cards get you in for free, so you can celebrate without driving after drinking, and people of different ages can enjoy it. Definitely worth trying, just try not to end up with a hangover the next day. I’d do it again.

Check-in went smoothly even though we arrived in the middle of the night, and the hotel staff were easy to reach. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning that worked well. Wi-Fi was good, there’s plenty of parking right in front, and the hotel is conveniently close to the highway.

The hotel and room were both nice, and parking was easy with so much space available. There’s a supermarket just around the corner, breakfast was great, and getting onto the highway was simple. The location feels a little unusual because of the nearby industrial area, but all in all we had a great stay.

Our room stayed uncomfortably hot even though the AC had been switched on before we arrived, and it barely seemed to work. The lightbulb in the sauna that came with our booking was broken too. The hotel is on an industrial drive, so if you’re visiting Freiburg, I’d look for somewhere in the city instead. You can find better hotels for less. For an overnight stop off the freeway, though, this might be fine.

People were partying outside my window all night, so I couldn’t sleep. There was no AC, and the pillow was so thin it might as well have been paper. A horrible experience. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
