Boddenrauschen

The hygiene was appalling, and we certainly won't return. This rental is advertised as 5 stars, but something is clearly wrong. The pillows were disgusting once we took off the covers. Kitchen utensils were filthy, the grill was caked in old grease and felt like a health risk, and the completely scratched Teflon pan was unusable. Those conditions were unacceptable. The stench from the septic tank, often like liquid manure, and loud street noise meant we couldn't open the bedroom windows. The smell was so bad that we often couldn't use the terrace either. It makes you wonder about compensation for pain and suffering. The internet was a complete disaster, often with no connection at all. We stayed for two weeks. After about a week, we came back one evening to find the power out upstairs. The old bedroom TV was probably the cause. It had no power button, so as a precaution we unplugged it to prevent a fire. We reported the fault straight away, but it couldn't be repaired in such a short time. There's also a large bathroom photo of two children behind wooden bars, which is really concerning.
