We would have liked to spend a week here as a group of 9, so it’s a shame the booking fell through. The offer had different pricing from the website and referred to rental conditions that weren’t included. When we asked about those issues, the landlord immediately withdrew from the rental agreement. The agreement also required an immediate 50% deposit, with the rest due 14 days before the trip. I’ve never encountered terms like that when booking a holiday, and they gave us no sense of trust in vacationers. The way our questions about the offer were handled felt unprofessional.

There are lots of places to relax around the beautiful grounds, including a lovely garden with a little wood. A great spot for nature lovers. The interior was clean and welcoming, and Karine was a very attentive host.

The owner was very friendly, and the property is fenced all around with a fence over 1.5 meters high. There’s a fire pit with benches, a great place to sit in the evenings while listening to the surrounding nature. The house is beautiful, with the owner’s home and a small holiday apartment on the property, plus the holiday home a few meters farther away. One tip: watch the sunrise over the Weseler Heide heathland.

A spacious, lovely holiday apartment with two rooms and a bathroom. The eat-in kitchen is well equipped, and the grounds are very large, with plenty of seating and room for sports and games. There’s a riding stable 2 km away.

We felt at home straight away in the lovely, very clean holiday apartment. The landlady was friendly, helpful, and especially personable, and we’d love to return. If you need a pediatrician, we highly recommend Dr. Gunnar Massute in Hanstedt.
